This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for processing personal data by Alicja Koperska, operating a sole proprietorship under the name Alicja Koperska, Tax ID (NIP): 6772461589, ul. Kujawska 13, lok. 2, 30-043 Krakow, Poland.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform users about how their personal data is collected, processed, and used, and about the rights afforded to them under the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC) and applicable Polish law.

Using the website – data collected via the website and mobile devices
With respect to Users visiting the website solely for informational purposes, data transmitted by the User’s browser is collected – that is, data technically necessary to display the website and ensure its stable and secure operation. In this case, data used to develop and improve the website and adapt it to Users’ needs may also be collected. This may include data on how many Users visited the site, how they found it, and what topics or products interested them. Collected data may include, among others: IP address, software and hardware parameters of the device used by the User, pages viewed, mobile device identification number, and other data concerning devices and system use. The CONTROLLER uses cookies to provide services, adapt the site to individual user preferences, and for statistical and advertising purposes. This mechanism can be disabled in browser settings. Purposes of data processing
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

Legal basis
The data referred to above is processed on the basis of:
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – the data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes;
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
- Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject – in particular obligations under the Act of 26 July 1991 on Personal Income Tax and the Act of 15 February 1992 on Corporate Income Tax;
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child – the CONTROLLER’s legitimate interest includes the right to pursue or defend claims, ensure the security of information, persons or property, and improve the quality of the products and services offered.
Rights of data subjects
The CONTROLLER informs that where processing is based on the User’s consent, providing personal data is voluntary. The User has the right to refuse to provide data, however this may result in being unable to use certain features of the website. The User has the right to withdraw previously given consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal. Users of akoperska.com are also entitled to:
- access their data and receive a copy of it,
- rectify (correct) their personal data,
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they believe their personal data is being processed in a manner inconsistent with data protection regulations.

Recipients of personal data
- authorities or entities authorized under applicable law;
- entities to which data is disclosed under agreements related to the CONTROLLER’s business activity, to which the CONTROLLER outsources tasks requiring data processing (processors), e.g.: IT service providers, IT systems operators, payment system operators, law firms, audit firms;
- authorities or entities to which data will be disclosed based on the consent of the data subject.
Period of personal data processing
Your personal data will be processed for the following periods:
- data processed on the basis of consent: until the consent is withdrawn. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
- data processed in connection with a contract to which the User, or their employer or principal, is a party: for the entire duration of the relevant contract, and after its termination for the period necessary to fulfill any obligations arising from the contract, as well as for the period during which claims related to the contract may arise under civil law, tax law, or other legal provisions, or, where justified, until you object to our processing of your personal data;
- data processed under a legal obligation binding on the CONTROLLER: for periods specified by the relevant legal provisions, appropriate to the given legal obligation. In the case of cookies – data is stored until the given cookie expires or is deleted by the User.
- data processed for the purpose of pursuing the CONTROLLER’s legitimate interest: for the period necessary to pursue that interest.
Storage of personal data
1. The CONTROLLER makes every effort to ensure that personal data voluntarily provided by Users is secure, and that access to it is limited and carried out in accordance with its intended purpose and the purposes of processing. The CONTROLLER also makes every effort to protect the data it holds against loss, through the use of appropriate physical and organizational safeguards.
2. The CONTROLLER informs that it has implemented appropriate technical and organizational protective measures to protect Personal Data, in particular safeguards against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, unauthorized access, and other unlawful and unauthorized forms of Processing, in accordance with applicable law.
3. The CONTROLLER is not responsible for the actions or omissions of Users. Users are responsible for ensuring that all personal data is transmitted to the CONTROLLER in a secure manner.
